Winery Mural for Solvero Wines
I collaborated with Solvero Wines to create a large-scale mural for their tasting room in Summerland, Canada. The intention behind the piece was to create something botanical, subtle and delicate.
The main concept behind the mural was to reflect the entire process involved in caring for and working within a vineyard. For this reason, subtle and almost omnipresent hands were incorporated on the left side of the composition, symbolizing the delicate labour, patience and care required behind the cultivation of each vine. In the center, the vineyards are represented in a more abstract way and on the right side, the composition reveals the final result of this process: the wine itself, represented through a barrel featuring Solvero’s logo, surrounded by vines and yellow arrowleaf flowers, that blooms during springtime and is deeply characteristic of the area surrounding the vineyards.
Designed to function both as an immersive backdrop and as part of the tasting experience itself, the mural invites visitors to slow down, enjoy a glass of wine, and connect with the atmosphere and landscape.
