GROW TOGETHER: CACAO MURAL

This mural was created for Delavoye Chocolates in Edmonton, Canada, as part of the Edmonton Mural Festival.

I was commissioned to create a piece that evokes the world of cacao and its production, particularly focusing on the region of Peru, where the owner sources much of their cacao. I wanted to highlight the native birds of Peru, such as the Andean Cock-of-the-Rock and macaws, which are commonly found around cacao plantations. The mural also features hands harvesting cacao, emphasizing the human effort behind the process.

As a Latin American artist, it was a joy to express a piece of Latin America through vibrant colors and the richness of the Amazon.
